The website uses some customised styling implemented via a custom CSS file.
Plugins have been added to implement a contact form and gallery on the website.
Bludit
The Bludit content management system is an excellent choice for smaller and simpler websites.
Bludit is easy to set up and it is easy for website owners to add and maintain content.
Bludit has a much smaller footprint than Joomla or WordPress and loads quickly.
This website has an almost perfect score in GTMetrix (see below) and this is "out of the box" with no extra effort required.

Joomla custom fields, Regular Labs Articles Anywhere and Regular Labs Articles Field are used together to enable landcare project details to be uploaded and displayed on the website.
Using Joomla custom fields to store project information (or any structured information) helps to future proof the website as there is no reliance on any particular third party extension.

The Hillside Project
Web Design:
The The Hillside Project landing page uses a customised version of the free "Eventually" template from HTML5UP.
Web Development:
The landing page includes a contact form so that website visitors can leave their contact details. Submitted contact details are emailed to an administrator and also written to a database for safe keeping (as emails are not always 100% reliable).
